Groups (Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced)

Beginners Walk > Jog

Beginners start with a 6 week programme with the aim of going from not being able to jog 'more than the length of yourself'  to being able to jog continuously for 20 mins (approx 3k). 

After the 3k programme the beginners then aim to complete a 5k within another 6 weeks.

We will be having a free taster week on Monday 20th  and Wednesday 22nd August 2018.

*If you can already jog for 15-20 mins (pace not important) then you can start anytime. ​

Intermediate 1 Jog > Run

This is for men and women who can jog continuously for 20 mins and would like to improve their 5k/10k times.

You can join this group anytime.

Intermediate 2

This is for men and women who can complete a 5k in under 32 minutes and would like to improve their 5k/10k time and build up their distance further

You can join this group anytime.


Advanced 

This is for men and women who can complete a 5k in under 28 mins and are looking to improve their 5/10k time and build up their distance further 

You can join this group anytime.

The Dean park, Kilmarnock (April - Sept)

Meet in main car park just off Dean Road. Parking is free.

The Kay Park, Kilmarnock (Oct - March).

Meet in the car park beside the pond at 6.25pm. Parking is free.

This is a cost effective option for members who have completed the 3k programme or who can already jog for 20 mins
